This image was altered, to create more depth between the background the the letters itself. the hight contrast of the black backrground blending into the "t" and the blinding white of the"x" creates a sense of depth.


The word I've chosen to work with is"Next".

To me the word, surrounds the notion of evolving, constantly changing, such as what is to come, perhaps even exploring the unknown. Space when working with type is very important, when trying to convey a certain massage as well. For this part of the exercise i decided to play with the kerning of the type. Initially, each letter the "N", "E", "X" and the"T" are placed almost on top of each other, making the word almost unrecognizable. The kerning is played with so that one can eventually recognize the formation of a word, the word "Time". The images below illustrate this precess. some of the images taken came out blurry, but rather an remove then, i chose to keep them because the king of give a sense of depth to the images.
